Insurance Broker Discusses Dementia & Long Term Care Insurance
As an experienced certified Insurance Broker, I regularly get asked by clients who have shown signs of dementia, if they should still get a long term care insurance policy. If a person is suffering from things like dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, or Parkinson’s disease, those conditions are very risky to insurance companies because the individual could live many years with that condition but still need long term care during that time frame.
In all likelihood, a person would not be able to get long term care insurance with that type of condition.
